From our garden to your plate
At Los Quetzales Restaurant, we are known both for our fresh, local, and often organic ingredients, as well as for our chefs’ talents at producing favorite, internationally-inspired dishes that will delight you. Whether you are a health-conscious vegetarian, vegan, paleo or gluten-free diner, or just enjoy a variety of great choices, you’ll find something delicious and nutritious to help you feel energized for your day out hiking and exploring here!
Nourishing and delicious dining homemade delights
We do this in several ways:
- For lunch and dinner we always offer a fresh salad bar with over 15 ingredients including fruits and vegetables.
- Some are organically grown in our garden like lettuces, watercress, rugula, tomatoes, kale, spinach and bananas.
- We bake our own bread on site with whole wheat flour (white is also available) to avoid packaging and preservatives.
- We have local dairy products like milk and cheese. Homemade yogurt and organic eggs from our farm.
- Our coffee is semi-organic (no pesticides, herbicides nor insecticides) and produced on our farm.
- All of our chocolate products are 100% cacao from Bocas del Toro.
- Our menu prioritizes vegetarian options, fish and poultry.
Breakfast
We offer a daily buffet breakfast with a variety of options. Two breakfast are included for all of our accommodations in the heart of the hotel. Extra breakfasts are $7.00 per person.
Lunch
Whether you’re looking for a light or a hearty lunch, our chefs have you covered! Fresh juices, soups, salads, wraps, pizzas, pastas, and even three-course meals with sides like french fries, yucca, plantain, or sauteed veggies will delight!
Dinner
After a long day of hiking through the jungles, and once the adrenaline of exploring for new bird and wildlife wears off, you deserve a delicious and well-prepared dinner with the finest ingredients! Come relax with us!
