\n\t Our Story\t <\/h2>\t

During the 1970s, a few friends and I purchased land in the serene mountains of Cerro Punta. At first, our only intention was to preserve several hectares of pristine forest untouched. Part of the property was farmland, but over time, it transformed into a thriving secondary forest, rich with life. In the 1980s, with the help of local friends, we built a small cabin\u2014Cabin #8\u2014nestled deep within the jungle. It was originally meant as a retreat for my brother to paint, but my brother kept painting in the city, and eventually I decided to rent it out.<\/p>

To our surprise, it quickly became known as a one-of-a-kind immersive nature experience in Panama, attracting both international tourists and locals. In the 1990s, we made a few additional cabins within the forest. Our efforts were featured in tourism publications such as Lonely Planet and The Visitor, sparking even more interest.<\/p>

As our project expanded, logistics began to require a more robust home base.<\/p>

That\u2019s when we built the main hotel in Guadalupe, just 20 minutes from the cabins. Over time, we added more facilities\u2014a restaurant, a spa, luxury suites, and other amenities, slowly transforming the area. Today, we are happy to say that we are still preserving this land, putting our ecological principles into practice, continuing to pioneer the ecotourism industry in Panama. We remain committed to serving our guests with love and gratitude, providing a sanctuary where they can reconnect with nature, recharge, and find peace.<\/p>
